WHAT IS BRANDING?

The dictionary defines branding as:

"the promotion of a particular product or company by means of advertising and distinctive design. the process of branding should be considered in global terms"

 

NPS Design Studio takes that definition seriously. Research goes into our final designs. We don't want to create something someone else already has after all. We also look too see how your competition is branding - we not only look at the most successful brands, but also the ones that are lacking. All that research helps us design the perfect brand/logo. 

 

NPS loves a good branding project. Branding is the first important step in marketing, after deciding the name of your business, and then we create an image, or identity, to go with the name. In other words everything is unique to your vision from colors to typography/fonts to the final product and THEN how we use it in marketing moving forward.

There are logos we see everyday and instantly have a reaction to them. We are even drawn to it. Like your favorite coffee shop for example. As you approach, and see that sign, you know you are almost there and you have feelings, maybe of excitement, anticipation or impatience (maybe all three!) to take that first sip. This is all part of branding and marketing!

You've named your business and now its time to create your "Brand Identity". There are several steps to this but the first thing NPS considers is your initial vision. We then take that, look what your competitors are doing, and create an identity plan unique to you. Ask us about rebranding or updating your current look.

In our discovery meeting we will discuss the colors you are considering and your initial logo ideas. Some clients even have fonts picked out. No worries if you don't. Our wheels and imaginations are spinning as your story and needs begin to unravel to us.

NAIL DOWN THE DETAILS

Color schemes, fonts, and then a logo. There are many steps to this. NPS has 30 years experience in this process. We listen to your needs and then we begin creating. You will receive a draft with your ideas, our ideas and something in between and occasionally something inspired from another direction completely.
